Contact Form & Email Inquiries
Website users who contact us by filling in and submitting our Contact Us form should be assured that the data submitted is collated as an email and sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. It is not stored on our website or passed to / processed by any third party other than the necessary stages of an email message through our website host (Bluepark) and email provider (Rackspace). Use of the form implies a contract that we may use data received for the purpose of responding to your inquiry or request. Similarly, the data associated with any email message sent to us via a link to email@example.com on our website will only ever be used to respond to your inquiry or request. We do not sell, share, rent, trade or otherwise distribute email addresses or contact data with any other organisation or business.
We collect data from customers of our ecommerce shop for the purpose of processing and fulfilling orders, and to provide users with an account from which to monitor their orders. This data is collected and processed within a contract between us, as sellers, and the customer, as buyers. Data collected includes things like name, contact details (to inform customers of progress on their order and provide a receipt for payment), delivery address and billing address. This data is transmitted to our payment providers - either Sagepay or PayPal - for the purpose of payment processing. Please be assured, we never have access to a customer’s banking or payment details – this is handled entirely by our payment providers using their secure servers and systems. We retain order data for seven years, to comply with accounting and taxation requirements. The data is stored on a secure server hosted by our hosting company, Bluepark. Customers have a 'right to be forgotten' and can request that we delete their data (via email to firstname.lastname@example.org) though any such request will need to be balanced with our legal requirement to retain order data for taxation purposes. Please note, In the event of an unpaid/disputed account by a customer, personal information will be forwarded to our appointed third party debt recovery/legal representatives to proceed on the grounds of legitimate interests to recover the account.
We maintain an email marketing list which is typically used once or twice per month. We have an interest in communicating special offers and promotions to customers and website users who have expressed an interest in receiving them. Opted-in recipients can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the foot of each message, or by emailing email@example.com with the subject line 'Unsubscribe:' followed by your email address.
