Ensure Receipt of Emails from Business-Gifts-Express.co.uk

A small number of customers have experienced problems receiving confirmation emails after placing their orders. In almost all of these cases, the customer had an email account with either Gmail, Hotmail (or Live), or Yahoo! These services use filters to block spam email from user accounts, but sometimes the filters can also block legitimate email such as our order confirmations. To ensure that you receive an order confirmation email, and any subsequent delivery notifications, you should add our email address to a "trusted senders list" in your Gmail, Hotmail / Live, or Yahoo! account. Instructions for each service type are provided below:

Please note, we hate spam as much as you do. Apart from replies to customer enquiries, we only send email to customers to confirm their order and payment, to notify when an order has been dispatched, and occasionally after an order has been sent we may request feedback on our products or service. We do not add customer email addresses to any mailing list. We maintain an entirely separate database for subscribers who choose to opt-in to our monthly Special Offers email newsletter (sign-up here).

 

Instructions for Gmail Users

You should add business-gifts-express.co.uk to your Gmail contacts:

  1. Sign in to your Gmail account;
  2. Click on "Contacts" on the left side of any page;
  3. Click the "New Contact" button in the top-left corner of Contact Manager;
  4. In the Email field, type sales@business-gifts-express.co.uk;
  5. Click "Save";

 

Instructions for Hotmail / Live Users

You should add business-gifts-express.co.uk to your "Safe List":

  1. Sign in to your Hotmail / Windows Live account;
  2. Click the Options link in the upper right-hand corner of the page;
  3. Under the heading Junk e-mail, click the "Safe & Blocked senders" link;
  4. Click the "Safe" senders link;
  5. Type (or copy and paste) business-gifts-express.co.uk into the space provided;
  6. Click "Add to List"

 

Instructions for Yahoo! Users

You should instruct Yahoo! to place all email sent by business-gifts-express.co.uk into your Yahoo! Inbox:

  1. Sign in to your Yahoo! email account;
  2. Click "Options" in the upper right-hand corner of the page;
  3. Under the "Management" heading click on "Filters";
  4. Click "Add";
  5. In "Filter Name" type (or copy and paste) business-gifts-express.co.uk
  6. Next to From header: make sure that "contains" is selected in the drop-down menu;
  7. On the same line, next to "From header: contains", type (or copy and paste) business-gifts-express.co.uk into the space;
  8. Lower down it says "Move the message to:", you should select Inbox;
  9. Click "Add Filter";
  10. You should also add sales@business-gifts-express.co.uk to your address book.

 

Instructions for Other Email Services and Providers

For other email programs and providers, you should consult the help section in the programme or provider Website to determine how to ensure mail from a particular address is always delivered to your inbox. Usually this will involve adding the email address to your address book/contact list or to your safe list.

The address/es to add are:
